Kolkata: The Supreme Court, in its meeting on September 16, recommended the transfer of Justice Joymalya Bagchi from Andhra Pradesh High Court to Calcutta High Court. Justice Bagchi, who began his career as a lawyer in Calcutta HC in 1991, was transferred in 2011 from Bengal to Andhra, where he became a permanent HC judge.
